How we store and use your personal information
Keith Marsden Computing Ltd is committed to protecting the data we need to collect from you to enable us to provide the domain name, website hosting and website development services along with any other services that we offer. We have created this privacy statement to explain how we collect, retain and use the information we receive about you. Our goal is to demonstrate and communicate our high ethical standards and how we implement appropriate internal controls.
Any information we collect and retain will be used solely for the purposes of the services that we provide you. We will never pass your personal information to a third party without your prior permission. We consider your data to be private and confidential: we hold ourselves, and our clients, to the highest standards of trust in its safekeeping and use.
Please note that by giving us your personal data, you are accepting that it may be accessed by our employees. Your data may be held by us in a paper or electronic format.
It is important to us that your information is current; we will delete your data after five years, or contact you to obtain an update. We would be grateful if you would inform us of any changes to your contact details, as and when they occur.
We maintain an internal database which contains the data required to enable us to register and renew domain names for you and to invoice you for any website development work that you request us to do for you. This typically includes your name, address and telephone number. This data may be available to our management or an agent acting on your behalf (with your prior permission) via a password protected area of our website as well as via our internal database system. We may also, from time to time, use your contact details to provide you with relevant information relating to your website account which we feel would be of benefit to you. We do not do ad-hoc marketing campaigns. All passwords which are stored within our database are encypted to provide greater security.
If you wish to review or correct your personal data or remove your name and related information from our records, please contact us.
If you have any questions about this Privacy and Security Policy statement, the practices of this website or your dealings with our company, please contact us. We reserve the right to change this policy at any time by posting a new policy at this location.
